Entering the lobby, guests will be immersed into a sumptuous environmentreminiscent of an exquisite garden typical of the South Yangtze River region.Shades of the royal family are echoed through numerous touches of nobility; forexample, the entrance to the hotel evokes an ancient site on which a sedan hallmight be housed. And an art installation in the shape of such a sedan createsan ambience in which guests are given a very personal sense of acquaintancewith traditional Chinese culture. Walking further inside, guests will noticethe majestic lobby is supported by four wooden pillars, and whose hand-makingnatural patterning and coarse texture quietly bespeaks the power of life andtime.
The lounge area in the lobby connects with thereception desk through a circular opening known as a “Full-moon Shaped Gate” intraditional Chinese gardens. The Sky Ballroom is the ideal venue for hosting acocktail party, wedding banquet, or a premier brand event. Encompassing 300sqm,the Sky Ballroom is seven meters high from floor to ceiling. The water wave-shaped crystal ceiling chandelier is designed to resemble theripples of waves on the surface of the Qiantang River.
